𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: The Results

Dagenham & Redbridge secured back-to-back victories at Victoria Road in a five-goal thriller against Solihull Moors. The action-packed affair saw the hosts come from behind early on and go on to win the game thanks to goals from George Saunders, Angelo Balanta and Matt Robinson, despite a late Rooney goal – McMahon’s men showing great character and quality throughout.
These are the average ratings of the scores YOU gave our players:
So, a slight variation, but on the whole a fairly level playing field when it comes to the performance, all consistent with each other - consistently good. Just the one player narrowly missing out on the rating of 7+ from the starting XI - Joey Jones with 6.9 - but there were also four 8+ performances.
On the 8+ club, I agree on all those included, though perhaps Vilhete and Clark deserve to be in there - arguably Sagaf - but their rating is near enough for their efforts, I suppose.
So, now to your MOTM, like Tuesday there were several contenders and, for the first time, you have gone with someone different to the official 'Vicariage Field MOTM':
It was close, with Angelo Balanta securing 33.3% of the vote to secure it, pipping Matt Robinson at the post. The colombian put in a worthy display yesterday; winning and then scoring a penalty, as well as assisting George Saunders for his first Dagenham & Redbridge goal.
I must admit he wasn't my choice, I went with Mauro Vilhete, who has had a real impact on the team since his arrival - allowing us to play more free-flowing, attacking football. His interplay, like Balanta's, yesterday was key to putting Solihull on the back-foot and unlocking their defence.
So, I'll see you back next week, where hopefully, the Daggers can continue their winning run.
Thanks to everyone who got involved,
Keane
