𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨: 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚜𝚞𝚕𝚝𝚜

A dominant, yes, dominant victory from Dagenham was secured as the spitfires were left spiralling out of control on Tuesday night. Getting back to winning ways, an excellent performance, was testament to the determination, professionalism and quality shown by every man in red and blue at Victoria Road on Tuesday.

That's a summary of the team display, now to individuals, and YOUR player ratings which are somewhat an improvement on weeks gone by (it's the first time we've done player ratings on a victory!)...

A fantastic display, as aforementioned, a stark contrast to what I remember, as I write this - the performance put in against Aldershot. This showing had everything and was certainly one the Daggers can be proud of - I say it had everything as most importantly it had goals - something that has been in short supply for McMahon's men this season!

These player ratings do, as ever, reflect accurately on the performances of each player, some including the likes of; Kenny Clark (8.3), Matt Robinson (8.0), Angelo Balanta (8.4), Paul McCallum (9.1) - securing an 8+ rating (the big man up top surpassing 9) - testament to the shift they put in on Tuesday night.

Before we get to McCallum, I'll just touch on these 'accurate' ratings and I'm generally aligned with perhaps one or two able to climb a point higher. However, one player I will make a case for is George Saunders, I feel the energetic winger who posed a constant threat could've joined that '8+' club.

But, as I say, I'm in agreement for the most part and I'm certainly in agreement with the final segment - the matter of Man Of The Match. Take a bow, Mr Paul McCallum...

This Paul McCallum, whom we saw on Tuesday night, was the number 9 who we thought we'd bought in August - posing a constant threat and popping up with a goal. Also, dominating aerially all game, all of these qualities are ones he prides his game on and therefore the frustration around him recently is understandable.

He hasn't hit the heights this season, far from it, hence the happiness and relief (almost) that the prolific Paul McCallum of seasons gone by is still very much there and (fingers crossed) back! Is he back for good? Let's hope so!

That's the take from YOU, the supporters, with a few of my thoughts but I'll post my full Match Reaction in due course. Detailing my reaction to the performance in full, that McCallum goal + the Columbian genius' opener.

For now, thank you to all who took part and got involved,

Keane
